Sweet and Sour Turkey Meatballs

Baked Meatballs

This recipe offers a tangy sweet and sour taste but calls for ground turkey breast instead of ground beef, cutting down on calories, fat, and saturated fat. Here’s a tip: Always compare nutrition labels for meats, if available – you’ll notice ground turkey is much higher in fat and calories than ground turkey breast.

2 lbs. ground turkey breast

2 eggs

1 cup oatmeal, ground using food processor

½ cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt

¾ tsp salt

1 cup ketchup

¼ cup sugar substitute

1 Tbsp vinegar

1 Tbsp yellow mustard

¼ tsp salt

  1. Mix together meatball ingredients. Shape into 2” balls. Put in large baking dish.
  2. Mix sauce ingredients together. Spoon over meatballs
  3. Bake at 350*F for 1 hour
