My scale does not appear to be working correctly, giving me different weights at different times. What should I do?

We definitely want you to have the tools you need for success and have them working properly. Weighing in is a key element in accountability, so there are several things to check to get you on track:

First, make sure your scale is on a hard, level surface as the reading can change or be incorrect on uneven and/or carpeted surfaces. Keeping it in the same location every time you weigh yourself also helps.
Another easy fix is to try a new set of batteries or check that the current batteries are installed correctly.
